Paddling under the bridge Jacques Cartier

Today was the first time that I went sea kayaking in Montreal since the winter start. The weather was perfect: sunny, no wind and 10 degrees Celsius. I went around Île Ste-Helene in the heart of the city. I had no plan; I just want it to get out for which I need to thank France, Patty’s mother as she took care of my 8 weeks old son Salvador while I went paddling. A few bird sightings, some fisherman, downtown, Montreal’s port where Cirque du Soleil is installed and is getting ready for their next show Luzia, strong currents, a close-for-the-winter amusment park and the impressive Jaqcues Cartier bridge: one of the most beautiful bridges that I seen, specially nice when you look from under and you are not burning fossil fuel. Lately I been enjoying taking pictures quite a lot so here are a few from today’s paddle.
